About us

The International Blind Tennis Association (IBTA) is the organization that regulates the sport of Blind Tennis internationally.

The objectives of the IBTA are the following:

  1. – Promotion, dissemination and development of the Blind Tennis around the world.
  2. – Get played on 5 continents and in more than 32 countries (condition to be considered Paralympic sport).
  3. – Promote the incorporation of new countries to the IBTA, to achieve the greater number of possible players around the world.
  4. – Establish a national and international competition system.
  5. – Make all the necessary arrangements to get considered Blind Tennis Paralympic Sport.
  6. – Organize exhibitions, clinics and solidarity events, in order to publicize the Blind Tennis internationally
